Your choice of agency has never been so important

From 19 October 2015, all agency staff employed by NHS trusts in England must be hired via an NHS approved national framework.

So what does this mean for you?

If you are working for another agency

  • They may not be able to supply through the correct framework (only a small percentage of agencies are approved suppliers)
  • Your placement may be at risk if you are not supplied through a framework
  • Your rate could potentially be reduced

If you are thinking of working locum

  • The new rules shouldn’t stop you
  • In fact, they provide more security if you are with the right agency
  • Choose your agency carefully; make sure they are approved to supply to the NHS trusts you would like to work for

If you are working for Sanctuary

  • Don’t worry – we are an NHS framework supplier
  • We are already actively supplying allied health and HSS professionals as well as nurses through these frameworks in most trusts
  • You can relax in your current role and know that we can supply in the future

Sanctuary Personnel supplies to all NHS trusts

We have been awarded a place on the new Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Multidisciplinary Temporary Healthcare Personnel agreement for the supply of doctors, consultants, dentists, general practitioners and allied health professionals as well as health science services, emergency services, nursing, midwifery and personal social services personnel to NHS trusts. We also continue to supply nurses on the London Procurement Partnership (LPP) framework.
This means Sanctuary adheres to the new rules that cap and control agency spend, as set out on 1 September 2015 by Monitor and the Trust Development Authority for all NHS trusts in England.
