    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is looking at recruiting four experienced and dedicated social workers to work within a looked after children team based in Warrington.

    The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for these locum social worker jobs is £26.88 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities/ General duties:
    - Knowledge of statutory duties required of a social worker including statutory visits and child and family assessments
    - Excellent analytical and assessment skills
    - Able to meet performance deadlines
    - Manage full and complex case loads
    - Flexible working available due to later visit sometimes being required
    - Must be child focused able to demonstrate ability to implement relationship based and systemic based practise
    - Good knowledge of the issues and risks faced by children in care and the procedures to manage these

    Requirements of the social workers:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - 1+ years in a similar post
    - Must be a car driver
