    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated team manager to manage a safeguarding team based in Worcestershire on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum team manager job is £39.07 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Duties:
    - Providing regular supervision to Social Workers
    - Ensuring all members of the team receive regular supervision
    - Case allocation
    - Regularly assessing caseloads
    - Providing consultation on complex cases
    - Chairing Strategy Meetings
    - Chairing Professional Meetings
    - Managing Duty System
    - Accompanying Social Workers on home visits for monitoring and support purposes when required
    - Attending court and giving evidence when required
    - Auditing files
    - Quality assuring all work produced by the team
    - Ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented
    - Ensuring that activities within the Council's safeguarding services are carried out to agreed service standards within available budgets, and in line with legislative, regulatory and national minimum standard requirements

    Requirements of the team manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - 2+ years in a similar post
    - Must be a car driver
