Team Manager, Safeguarding and Supporting Families

Permanent | Torquay| Salary from £41,025 - £43,820 per annum

Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Torquay for a team manager to work within a safeguarding and supporting families team. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £41,025 - £43,820 per annum

Team Manager duties include:
- Provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of children, young people and families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines, policies and standards
- Lead, supervise, appraise, develop and manage a social work team that is responsible for the delivery of targeted family support and specialist provision to all children and young people in need or subject to child protection, or looked after by the local authority
- Promote and develop an integrated approach to both assessment an provision across the whole of children's services, including partner agencies

Requirements of the team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
