Are you passionate about developing your social work career?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated team manager to work full-time within a learning disabilities team based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum team manager job is £38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the team manager:
- You will be leading and managing a team of qualified andnon-qualified staff in the delivery of high quality assessment, support planning, brokerage, review and enablement services.
- Providing direct line management to senior practitioners and senior enablers and to hold professional responsibility for qualified and non-qualified staff providing services to adults to safeguard and promote their welfare.
- Good understanding and demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in relation to "Putting People First" and safeguarding principles and issues.
- Experience of managing and supervising social care staff in the delivery of social care services within diverse communities

Requirements of the team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
