    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Bexley for a Team Manager to work within a Family Support and Child Protection Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £50,616 - £57,099 per annum.

    The team manager will be responsible for supervising, leading, and supporting a team of social work practitioners and support staff within a statutory child protection service area (ie: child in need, child protection, children looked after).

    You will be responsible for risk management and decision making within the team. This requires you to have extensive knowledge and experience with professional standards for social work as well as the laws, statutory guidance, and local policies and procedures and to ensure these are being modelled and adhered to within the team.

    Requirements of the Team Manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
