Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated team manager to manage a children in care team based in Cornwall on a full time basis.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum team manager job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Job Description:
- To lead a team of social workers, and a youth workers providing a social work service to children in care in Cornwall.
- To promote and evidence the meaningful participation of children, young people and parents/carers in the processes of key decision making and shaping service delivery
- Ensure the team standard for efficiency and productivity is achieved
- To ensure that children, young people and their families are fully involved in the process of assessment, planning, implementation and review and that their views are taken into account and properly recorded
- Improve the welfare, safety and outcomes of children and young people allocated to team members

The role requires an ability to work effectively with partners and other agencies in the area, including police, health and education colleagues.

Requirements of the team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
