Team Manager - Children and Families Access and Assessment

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated team manager to work full time within a children and families access and assessment team based in Hackney. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum team manager job is £35.10 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the team manager:
- Assess and balance risk and protective factors within a child protection framework
- Understand the context of child development, parenting capacity and family and environmental factors in which to established the needs of an individual child
- Provide written and verbal reports which are concise, informative and based on analysis of complex evidence

Requirements of the team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
