Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated team manager to manage a child protection and court team based in Cornwall. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum team manager job is £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the team manager:
- To lead a team of social workers and family workers providing a social work service to children in need, children in need of protection and children subject to care proceedings
- To ensure the team standard for efficiency and productivity is achieved, and team performance is maintained and improved in accordance with agreed priorities, practice quality standards and performance indicators
- To improve the welfare, safety and outcomes of children and young people allocated to team members
- To ensure that team members have access to training and that training is linked to career and personal development in line with Appraisal objectives.

Requirements of the team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
