Are you looking for a new social work role?

Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Gillingham for a supervising social worker. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,500 per annum.

To supervise and support foster carers, in looking after children and young people within their homes and contribute to the recruitment and assessment of new foster carers

- All carers with a foster placement are visited at least monthly, and new placements to be visited more regularly as agreed with line manager,
- All supervision visits are logged on CHARMs within 7 days of the visit.
- Child progress reports completed and sent to LASW within specified period
- Agency LAC review reports written and sent to LASW and IRO before the review
- Ensure all LAC review and PEP meetings attended by self or colleague, and log action points agreed in meetings
- Engage with social work supervision as per agreed schedule
- Attend all social work practice meetings, clinical meetings unless there is a valid reason for being elsewhere, with apologies.

Requirements of the supervising social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
