Are you interesting in developing your social work carer?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within a Fostering Team based in Chester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £24.97 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- 2 Years post qualified experience with background experience in Fostering
- Must be a car driver

Responsibilities:
-Recruit, assess, and approve foster carers and adopters, in accordance with statutory requirements
-Manage, supervise, support and develop foster carers, adopters and carer support workers, directly providing and / or facilitating training as appropriate in order to safeguard the welfare of looked after children and adopted children. To act in an advisory role to Grade 8 and Grade 9 social workers
