Supervising Social Worker, Connected Person Assesment Team

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated supervising social worker to work full time within a connected person's team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum supervising social worker job to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the supervising social worker:
- Understanding and knowledge of the policies and legislative frameworks which inform outcomes for children and young people
- An understanding of child development and the factors that contribute to positive outcomes in line with the National Framework for Assessment
- Knowledge of the role of statutory and voluntary agencies involved in working with children and families

Requirements of the supervising social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have an enhanced DBS and must be HCPC registered.
