    Social Workers, Children's Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for ten experienced and dedicated social workers to work full time within a children's team based Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for these locum social worker jobs is negotiable and are initial 3 month contracts.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Ensuring the delivery of appropriate services to children and their families, according to their assessed needs.
    - Delivering good outcomes for children through taking referrals, completing timely assessments and implementing effective service plans that safeguard vulnerable children
    - Leading on safeguarding investigations in the most complex cases and where there are multiple incidents
    - Holding a caseload of complex cases particularly those where abuse or neglect is suspected

    Requirements of a social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Enhanced DBS Check dated within the last 12 months and issued to current supplier
