    Social workers, Children's safeguarding

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for experienced and dedicated social worker to work within a children's safeguarding team based in the Bracknell. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £32 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is ab initial 2 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Manage a mixed caseload, including challenging cases that involve vulnerable children and families
    - Ensure needs are met and risks are managed to achieve best value and effective use of resources
    - Maintain records in line with policy and procedure within the framework provided by the Case Management System

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Must have recent experience of working with children and their families in a safeguarding capacity
