    Are you interesting in developing your social work carer?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker within a transitions team based in Northamptonshire.

    The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £26 - £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    The Transitions Service provides statutory social work interventions for young adults transitioning from children's services, who meet eligibility criteria under the Care Act 2014. It is therefore crucial that the Transitions Team are able to begin the process of co-working, and complete the adult assessment and support plan at an appropriate stage prior to the young person's 18th birthday. This is to ensure that all steps are being taken to work in conjunction with child care colleagues to prepare the young person for adulthood, and ensure that post 18 eligible needs are met in the most cost-effective and seamless manner.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - 3 years post qualifying UK experience
    - Knowledge of relevant legislation
    - Knowledge and understanding of appropriate assessment tools and research
    - Must be a car driver
