Are you looking for a new social work role in Newham?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults transitions team based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Undertake a range of tasks which could include investigation of adult safeguarding issues, carrying out assessment of nee, analysis and planning, assessing and managing risk, commissioning support and reviewing
- Identify and appropriately report children and adult safeguarding concerns, liaising with key agencies to gather information and acting as investigating officer as delegated
- Work with a range of legal interventions and departmental policies and procedures to support outcome-based planning for adults

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
