    Social Worker, South Locality Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a south locality team based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The starting pay rate for this locum social worker job is £31 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Social worker duties include:
    - Ensuring effective frontline service delivery and safe functioning
    - Meeting the business' objectives authority's statutory responsibilities such as safeguarding and child protection
    - Supporting junior staff such as NQSW's with day to day direction
    - Ensuring that children are being effectively safeguarding and protected.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Must be a car driver
    - Must have safeguarding experience
