Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker/Senior Practitioner within a Disabled Children's Team based in Thurrock. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The starting pay rate for this locum Social Worker/ Senior Practitioner job is £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker/ Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Previous knowledge of working within CWD is essential.
- Car driver with driving license and car.

Responsibilities of the Social Worker/ Senior Practitioner
- Manage a complex case load and have in depth knowledge of Child Protection, Child In Need and Looked After Child procedures.
- Undertake relevant assessments including C&F, writing court statements, LAC reports, reviewing care packages and presenting the cases to relevant funding panels.
