    Social Worker / Senior Practitioner, Children in Care

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker / senior practitioner to work full time within a children in care team based in Dartford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker / senior practitioner job is £28 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Social Worker / Senior practitioner duties include:
    - Contributing to and reviewing the development of ongoing initiatives to achieve a more effective use of resources within Children & Families Services
    - Initiating and developing close working partnerships with statutory agencies, voluntary and private sector agencies, carers and those with parental responsibility in order to facilitate effective service delivery
    - Informing advise, counsel and support clients and carers, individually and in group settings, to relieve stress and modify attitudes of behaviour to meet the needs of the client

    Requirements of the social worker / senior practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
