    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to work full-time within a Safeguarding Team based in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker job is £25 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults services

    The Social Worker will be based within the Adult Safeguarding Provider Team. Work is focussed on managing allegations made against paid Care Providers eg in Care or Domiciliary Settings. The candidate is expected to be experienced in completing Section 42 Enquiries, in triaging referrals and working with partner agencies and Quality Assurance Professionals. The Team are based in Macclesfield Town Hall, but cover the Cheshire East Footprint.
