    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time in a safeguarding team based in Dorset. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £35 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    - To provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of children, young people and families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines, policies and standards.
    - To assess need, plan and deliver focused intervention and family support to safeguard and protect children and young people and promote positive outcomes.
    - Working to models of best practice and actively promoting and adopting integrated approaches for the benefit of children and young people and their families.
    - To understand and promote the core business of the Torbay Safeguarding Children's Board and deliver its priorities

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children services
