Social worker, Safeguarding and Child Protection

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work within a children's safeguarding team based in the Worcestershire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £27.93 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and ais an initial 3 month contract.

As a Social Worker with us, you'll look at each case and assess, plan, implement and evaluate action or treatment. Your main focus will be on helping children and their families to cope with social, emotional and environmental problems so they can live their lives as fully as possible in the community.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have recent experience of working with children and their families in a safeguarding capacity

We're looking for people with an innate confidence but also the ability to listen, weigh up the facts and come up with the best possible solution. Ultimately, you'll do all you can to help children lead happy lives with their own families.
