Social Worker, Referral Assessment and Intervention Service

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work within a referral assessment and intervention service in Surrey on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent). and is an initial 3 month contract.

Social worker duties include:
- Undertaking assessments within the required timescales in accordance with the Framework
- Implementing care plans by working in partnership with parents and colleagues from other agencies to effect better outcomes for children with Child Protection Plans
- Producing court statements and when required, give evidence in court on behalf of the local authority

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within similar role
- Must be a car driver
