Are you looking for a new social work role in Londonderry?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full-time within a physical disabilities team based in Londonderry. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the NISCC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £16.93 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Act as keyworker, or care manager in keeping with individual client needs in accordance with associated guidelines and standards
- Carry out individual (person centred) assessments, develop support plans and ensure regular monitoring and review in keeping with assessed induvial needs and associated operational standards
- Ensure that carers' assessments are offered in the contact of a holistic approach to meeting need and encourage the uptake and review of those assessments on an annual basis or as required
- Carry out risk screening and assessment in keeping with operational guidelines, and to develop, implement and co-ordinate risk management plans

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current NISCC registration
- Must have mental health experience
