Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within an Older People's Community Mental Health Team based in Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £30,000 to £40,000 per annum.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
- Experience in CMHT Adult/Older Peoples Mental Health is essential.
- Routinely working with complex cases.
- Detailed working knowledge of the statutory context of adult social provision and in particular an applied knowledge of the provisions of The Mental Capacity Act.
- A valid driver's licence and the availability of an insured vehicle for the performance of work-related duties is an essential requirement of the role.

- You will provide a social care service to older people living in the community and to the inpatient units within Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, offering support and advice on discharge arrangements and to community support. Your work will include being care-coordinator for several older people with a variety of needs arising from dementia or functional mental health conditions such as depression or psychosis.
