Social Worker, Mental Health Team

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a mental health team based in Kingston Upon Thames. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Ensuring compliance with the professional code of conduct and fulfil obligations under the relevant legislation
- Promoting and participating in good team working practices and to demonstrate these whenever possible
- Undertaking reviews of customers with long term needs as required and within statutory timelines and carry out reassessments as required

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Must have knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults and the assessment of risk
- Experience of working in statutory social services, and of working in a fast-paced duty environment
