    Social Worker, Mental Health Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a mental health team based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Participating in a full and flexible manner in the provision of services to vulnerable adults with complex mental health support needs and their carers
    - Maintaining a high standard of record keeping and completion of the necessary administrative procedures
    - To liaise and consult with users, carers, and colleagues based within CMHTs and with a range of statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure provision of appropriate services to service users
    - Maintaining close links with hospital and respite care facilities to ensure that appropriate plans for discharge to the community are made and followed through.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant frontline experience within adult services
