    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within a MASH Team based in Oldham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Duties:
    - You will be the first point of contact for all referrals to the service including early intervention, disabled children and the children's hospital team.
    - You will take a lead role in assessing referrals to determine level of risk and rate them accordingly being accountable to the MASH manager.
    - You will work closely with partner agencies the MASH social workers, duty team support officers and social work assistants who will act as researchers collating information.

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
