£30 - £35 per hour

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a mash/first response team based in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £30 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

You will work as part of the first response duty system and when appropriate offer advice, guidance and signposting to professionals and families and undertake section 47 investigations and section 17 assessments and work alongside professional ad families. You will also promote the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the Children's Ac 1989 criteria, and taking account of other relevant legislation as appropriate.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have experience of working within a MASH team
- Must be over 2 years qualified with experience of working within busy frontline children's teams
