    Are you interesting in developing your social work career?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker within a looked after children team based in Newham.

    The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £30 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    You will be managing a caseload of CLA from 0-18 years. This includes meeting the statutory requirements for CLA.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Communicate in English and write clear English
    - Organised and able to meet deadlines
    - Undertake sensitive, direct work with children
    - Experience of working with children looked after for at least 18 months - 2 years
