    Social Worker, Looked After Children Court

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a looked after children's court team based in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £26.82 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Managing an allocated workload within a team setting
    - Engaging other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies in the delivery of services agreed following the assessment of need
    - Providing professional support to newly qualified and less experienced social work staff to enable others to develop their knowledge and skills

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's service
