Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an integrated neighbourhood core team based in Trafford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £25.02 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

The main areas of responsibility are to work with adults over the age of 18, who have complex care needs.
- You will be required to manage a complex caseload and undertake social work assessments, using a strengths-based approach and complete documents to ensure effective statutory services support
- To identify risks to the individual and respond appropriately.
- Provide an effective response to safeguarding issues in line with the Care Act and local policy and procedures
- You will secure appropriate levels of funding where required, in line with Trafford's reshaping policy

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
- Level 3 Social Worker, holding a social work degree/or social work qualification.
