    Would you like to work in Derbyshire as a social worker?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a frontline duty and assessment team based in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Experience and knowledge of assessing general and short break foster carers
    - Experience of completing quality assessments in preparation for court or fostering panel, working to prescribed time scaled
    - Experience and knowledge of working with connected others (family and friends) carers, completing Rreg.24 suitability (viability) and full carer's assessments
    - Experience of attending panel to present cases
    - Ability to travel to complete assessment work
    - Experience of being part of the daily duty system
