    Social Worker, Family Support

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time in a family support team based in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the CCW.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £24.92 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Responding to the social work requirements of cases allocated by the Team Manager in terms of assessment, planning and reviews.
    - Engaging in individual direct casework with children, young people and families.
    - Undertaking detailed and thorough needs assessment of referrals
    - Planning and offering a range of interventions and enabling access to services provided by the Department, other agencies and voluntary bodies, to help children, young people and their families overcome disadvantage, problems and difficulties.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current CCW registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualifying experience
