    Social Worker, Family Support and Protection

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a family support and protection team based in Clacton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £207 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - To promote and support local parents to have a voice and drive service development across the all elements of BCP service
    - To identify the need for, develop, pilot, facilitate, and evaluate a range of meaningful groups for parents, and deliver approved evidence-based parenting courses
    - To liaise with a wide range of statutory, voluntary, community, private and/or independent agencies to ensure commissioned services provide for identified needs.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
