Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within a Family Placement Team based in Keynsham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

The post holder will have a caseload of Fostering assessments as well as supporting approved foster carers as well as undertaking viability and SGO assessments.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- At least 2 years' post qualifying experience of working in children's services
- Must be a car driver
- IT skills and be able to use an electronic record system.
- Very strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise their work effectively and in a timely way.
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, and be able to work collaboratively with carers, colleagues and professionals from other agencies.
