Social worker, Family Placement

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a family placement team based in Windsor. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Delivering all assessments and reports within the defined timescales
- Preparing court reports for Adoption, Special Guardianship and related matters, as required
- Undertaking family finding and permanency planning for children in the borough's care by liaising with other professionals, contributing effectively to meetings and ensuring the appropriate matching and safe placement of children
- Maintaining comprehensive case records that demonstrate good practice and evidence that the Royal Borough is discharging its duties appropriately in accordance with relevant legislation

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
