Are you interesting in developing your social work carer?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker within an early intervention team based in Colchester.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £207 (LTD Company Equivalent) per day and is an initial 3-month
contract.

This role requires you to be mobile throughout a wider operational area including traveling around, transporting service users and their belongings and to be able to do so in an emergency

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Assess complex social care needs and provide support to vulnerable adults, which enable them to live healthy and independently
- Work collaboratively building effective relationships with internal and external partnerships and stakeholders and the voluntary sector to assist vulnerable people in gaining support for inclusivity from within the community
- Develop support plans that gain commitment solutions that drive the care required for each individuals needs

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Driving licence and car or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential
- Experience within a social care setting with evidence of challenging social and family situations
- Strong communication skills and an ability to develop a rapport and engage with diverse groups of individuals
- Developing relationships with partners, other agencies and the local community to achieve joint objectives and offer supportive framework for children and vulnerable adults
