    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within a Disability Service in Waltham Forest. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this permanent Social Worker job is £32,430 - £38,799 per annum.

    Job Purpose & Duties:
    - Manage a caseload involving the assessment of needs, determining the appropriate support plan / care package and ensuring its implementation to maintain or improve wellbeing
    - Ensure that children and young people and young adults are appropriately safeguarded and to offer advice about safeguarding signs and thresholds to colleagues within the Disability Enablement Service
    - Conduct assessments of children and young people's circumstances and issues to determine intervention / referral to the appropriate service
    - Plan and implement interventions and actions for allocated cases
    - Maintain properly documented case files, records and information

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Proven social work experience /placement in a Children & Families or Adults Social Care setting/ minimum of one year's post qualifying experience
    - Experience of service delivery which is culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of a multi-cultural community
