    Social Worker, Corporate Parenting

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time in a corporate parenting team based in Walthan Forest. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £31 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Social worker duties include:
    - Ensuring that the team meets statutory requirements in respect of children in need, child protection, children looked after and care leavers
    - Assure professional standard of case management and the effective management of risk within the service area.
    - Prepare and present a full range of reports (both standard and non-standard) covering area of responsibility

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Must have over 5 years qualified with experience in a locality team and management experience
