    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a community mental health team in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £25 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 12-month contract.

    You will be working in a busy community mental health team alongside health colleagues to deliver social care to service users with serious and enduring mental illness under the statutory guidance of the care act 2014. This will include conducting needs assessments to determine eligible needs and identification of packages of care, leading on section 42 safeguarding investigations and managing a busy caseload effectively and autonomously.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
