Are you looking for a new social work role in Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within various community mental health teams based across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for these locum social worker jobs is to be confirmed and is an initial 3-6-month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Take part in a multi-disciplinary assessment under the integrated care programme approach and care management process
- Ensure service users and their carers take as full a part as possible in the assessment, devising and implementing the support/care plan
- Act as a care coordinator within the care programme approach, taking responsibility for ensuring the delivery of the care and all relevant services
- To have a working knowledge and understanding of the relevant legal frameworks: Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, NHS and Community Care Act, National Assistance Act.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
- Must be a car driver with a current UK drivers licence
