Social Worker, Children's Locality

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children's locality team based in Bexley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28-£30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Social Worker duties include:
- Assessing Children and their Families who may require a Social Work service and investigate reports that children are suffering or are likely to suffer harm
- Undertaking preventative work with families in order to reduce the need for care or accommodation
- Working closely with colleagues across the Council and external agencies in order to gather information relevant to assessment and care planning activities

Requirements of a Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
