    Social Worker, Children's Intervention Service

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children's intervention service based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £25 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Leading on complex single or joint agency enquiries
    - Assessing likely or actual harm to children
    - Preparing and presenting reports to multi-agency conferences and meetings
    - Coordinating and delivering direct support work to children, young people, families and carers who have complex needs

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Experience of court work and able to produce coherent statements
