Social Worker, Children's Hospital Team
Permanent | Wandsworth | Package from £29,154 - £37,650 per annum

As a social worker you will be working within a children's hospital team based in Wandsworth. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £29,154 - £37,650 per annum.

Pay grade is £29,154 - £37,650 with up to 6% Performance Related Pay Annual, and also a £3,000 Retention Payment on the 2nd year

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Undertake the full range of social work tasks with children in need and their families; assessment, planning, implementation and review (APIR)
- Bring together and co-ordinate the team around the child to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to APIR and safeguarding
- Establish and develop collaborative working with allied health and social care practitioners from children's and adult's services
- Promote and model effective working arrangements with schools, children's centres and other settings
- Take part in case/practice audits and contribute to peer audit arrangements as required

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
