Social Worker, Children in Need

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children in need team based in Hampshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28.26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Liaise with customers to review service requirements and resolve problems
- Keep up to date with changes in policy/legislation/contractual requirements in order to ensure service delivery is effective and complies with appropriate regulations
- Identify and implement improvements in own work area in order to deliver continuous service improvement and improved outcomes to customers
- Deliver service activities and manage caseloads to ensure intended outcomes for customers

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have 2 years post qualification experience within child protection
