    Social Worker, Children in Care

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children in care team based in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is up to £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Undertaking assessments in conjunction with the service user, their parents or carers and other agencies
    - Monitoring the care being provided to ensure that the needs are continuing to be met and to undertake reviews of the needs and service
    - Identifying areas of need which cannot be met and to systematically record and report the unmet need to the Manager
    - Providing ongoing support and advice to service users and parents of carers

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
