Social Worker, Children in Care/Child Protection

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children in care child protection team based in Chester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £26.88 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 6-month contract.

We are looking for someone who will assess the needs of children and young people who require social work services including the identification of risk and the need for protection. To develop, co-ordinate and deliver multi-agency plans to meet assessed needs and to review these plans to ensure they continue to meet assessed needs.
To prepare for and participate in professional supervision sessions and staff meetings and make use of all available training and developmental opportunities

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
