Are you interested in a social work role in Lewisham?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an early help team in Lewisham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Social Worker duties include:
- Provide an accountable statutory social work service to children, young people and their families/carers, to include assessment, intervention, case planning and review appropriate to the work of the team and service unit
- Undertaking all social work on allocated cases, or those working with on a short term assessment basis
- Ensure that service users are aware of their right to complain about the service they receive
- Produce case reports and correspondence for a variety of readership, including meetings, conferences, court, other agencies and service users.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience with children's services
