    Social Worker, Children and Young People Service

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children and young people service based in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the SSSC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Social Worker duties include:
    - Undertaking assessments in conjunction with the service user, their parents or carers and other agencies
    - Monitoring the care being provided to ensure that the needs are continuing to be met and to undertake reviews of the needs and service
    - Ensuring that the views of children and young people are represented at each stage throughout the process

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current SSSC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
